Enhance Your
Assessment with a
“360 Degree
Review” of Your Character
Invite the
people who know you best to offer their perspective about your
character through our “Assess Your Friend” survey. This process,
called a “360 degree review,” yields a fuller and often more
accurate picture of your character. And best of all, this too is
a free and anonymous service.
Here’s how it
works:
1. After you
complete the CCI and receive your scores, click on the link at the
bottom of your score page that says
Your Assessment with a '360 Degree Review' of Your Character."
Then, follow the steps to create a "User Identification"
(User ID) of 8 characters or fewer for our site. Note that at no time in this process will
you need to reveal who you are. Your User ID simply makes it
possible for us to combine into one report your self-assessment with
your friends’ assessments of you.
2. Ask two or
more of the people who know you best complete the “Assess Your
Friend” survey. To do this, they will need to input your User ID as
part of the survey. Alternatively, you can enter their email address
when you create your User ID and we will send them a note inviting
them to complete a survey on your behalf. However, this is an
optional service, provided for your convenience. You need not reveal
their email addresses to use this expanded service.
Tip for
increasing the accuracy of your report:
Consider asking people from different areas of your life to complete
the survey (for example, a person from your household, a person with
whom you work, and your best friend). In doing so, you will get a
more well-rounded picture of your overall character.
3. When two
or more of your friends have completed the “Assess Your Friend”
survey, return to our site to access your expanded report by simply
logging in to the site (if you
provide your email address when creating a User ID, we will notify
you automatically when this report is available). Your report will
include your original self-assessment scores, the average of your
friends’ assessments of you, and the overall average of the self and
friends’ assessments (see
a sample report). It’s that easy!
